- Working with engineers’ to complete structural engineering for fabrication.
- Structural steel detailing for New Nexen Incinerator Blower structure.
CH2M Hill Engineering - Calgary, AB, Canada
- Duties are 3D modeling and design of civil and structural aspects of oil and gas production.
- Includes working with all engineers to locate piling and structures for the support of all pipe, walkways, buildings, tanks, etc...
- Flythrough and interference checks prepared with Navisworks V5.
- Other software used are Bentley Autoplant XM/Prosteel 3D and Acad 2005/2008.
- Major projects: BP NOEL.
Jacobs Engineering - Calgary, AB, Canada
- Prepared FEED estimates for all concrete and structural steel.
- Duties were 3D modeling and design of civil and structural aspects of oil and gas production.
- Included working with all engineers to locate piling and structures for the support of all pipe, walkways, buildings, tanks, and concrete reinforcements.
- Earthwork: 2D
- Site preparation: clearing and grubbing, rough/final grading, hydrology, and drainage e.g. ditches, culverts, settling ponds, polishing pond.
- Roads: main access road (secondary highway), plant road, haul road.
- Underground: water, fire water, culverts, sewer, process drains above ground pipeline and corridor ponds and liners. Steel tank granular pads and containment areas.
- Software used was Bentley Autoplant XM, Intergraph, SmartPlant 2007, Acad 2005, 2006, and Navisworks.
- Major projects: Suncor Firebag 3 / Petro Canada Fort Hills.

- Duties included 3D modeling and design of civil and structural aspects of oil and gas production.
- Included working with all engineers to locate piling and structures for the support of all pipe, walkways, buildings, tanks, etc..

- Duties are 3D modeling and design in structure, outfitting and various Lofting with Ship Constructor 2005, Rhino and ACAD 2005.
- Field engineering for new vessel construction.
- Modules in Ship Constructor 2005 used were Structure/Build Strategy/Manager.
- Navisworks was used for flythroughs and interference check.
- Major projects: 285’ Maintenance and research Vessel, 265’ AHTS, 655’ Oil Tanker Barge & 155’ PSV, misc. oil platform work.

- Design 3D solid models using Solidworks and Rhinoceros.
- Create 2D line drawings for Structure, General Arrangements, mechanical using ACAD 2005.
A.G. Mcilwain Ltd. Naval Architect - Vancouver, B.C. Canada
- Created 2D and 3D line drawings using ACAD and other 3D software.
- This included general arrangements, structural, mechanical, piping, and nesting of parts to be CNC'd.

- Incorporated existing boat designs to ACAD for working drawings.
- Redesigned and modified designs to owner’s specifications. All drawings were 2D with 3D rendered models.
Kristen Yachts - Victoria, B.C. Canada
- Responsible for keeping projects in budget and on time, ordered supplies and kept all metals inventory fully stocked.
- Oversaw all aspects of the construction and quality control of yachts.
- Drew all engineered designs to ACAD for shop production. Designed and detailed the interiors in 3D along with structural designs to working drawings for production.
- All boats were drawn in 3D to view actual layouts, and exported to other programs for CNC.
Esquimalt Dry Dock Co Ltd. - Victoria, B.C. Canada
- Worked mainly on large vessels such as freighters, barges, BC Ferries, Coast Guard vessels, and large fish boats.
- Duties were fabrication and welding of structure and pipe.
Point Hope Shipyard - Victoria, B.C. Canada
- Welded and fabricated various new contracts and repair works. This included structure and pipe.
- Performed repair work on most of the BC Ferry fleet and also deep sea ships, barges, various Navy ships, large cruise ships, and many types of fishing vessels, large and small.
- Involved with the construction of all three Fast Ferries.
- Carried out all welding procedures that were needed for C.W.B. Mig & Tig.
Tri-Metal Fabricators - Delta, B.C. Canada
- Welded and fabricated various stainless steel pulp and paper tanks. All welds were x-ray quality.
- Fabricated projects for the HVAC industry.
